JK Police Recruitment 2020 – Jammu & Kashmir Police department invites application form from the eligible male and female candidates for the post of Special Police Officer (Sports Quota) for 39 vacancies on a temporary basis. Candidates with the qualification of 10th pass within the age limit of 18 to 24 years are eligible to apply for this job. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their duly filled application form along with the required documents to the given postal address on or before 10 March 2020. Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: 

For Special Police Officer (Sports Quota):

• Candidates should pass Matriculation examination or equivalent from any Government recognized Board.

Note: The candidate must be a permanent resident of UT of J&K

Age Limit: 18 to 24 years

Age relaxation: Up to 02 years shall be given to the outstanding sports persons.

Sports Events:

Candidates should have sports background of International/National/State/UT level/ Any Other by the following sports events:-

• Archery
• Athletics/Cross Country
• Boxing (Men/Women)
• Basket Bali
• Bodybuilding
• Football
• Handball
• Hockey
• Judo
• Kabadi (Men/Women)
• Kayak and Canoeing
• Shooting (Sports)
• Volleyball
• Weightlifting
• Wresting
• Wushu

JK Special Police Officer Selection Process:

• Selection will be based on Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying in nature only.
• Physical Standard Test (PST) – Measurement of Height & Chest.

Physical Standards:

• Height – Male: 5′.6″ (minimum), Female: 5′.2″
• Chest – Male: 32″ (unexpanded) & 33^1/2″ (Expended)

Physical Endurance Test (PET):

• Male – 1600 meters Race in 06 minutes and 15 seconds
• Female – 1000 meters Race in 06 minutes and 15 seconds

Push ups:

• For Male only 20 (one Cycle up and down to be counted as one)
